Same on both sides. I have them in my truck so just remind me next to you see me. You'll need a new cotter pin, but that's easy to find.

I need new ditch lights because my current @CaliRaisedLed ones are leaking in under a year. So now I'm trying to decide on my lighting setup for ditch, 40" roof and 20" bumper. I plan to go with higher quality lights and slowly buy them over time but ditch lights need to come first then roof and then replace my heise 20" bumper light when I have spare money and theres not something I want more. I like matching things though so sticking with 1 brand will keep me happier even if my wallet isnt. The hard part is what light pattern to get and what do I go clear or amber. Do I go all clear, all amber or a mix of both.

Ditch lights I'm thinking a combo spot/flood beam setup with either BD S2's or squadron sports. I wonder if the S2's will give me enough light or if the squadrons are the better choice. Will I miss the extra light produced by the side shooters? They are slightly annoying since I put the CB antenna on a ditch light bracket extension.

40" Roof will be a single row bar. Likely a pure spot since I'll only use it when I'm solo or leading a group. I may go lower cost here since its use will be so limited.

Then for the 20" single row bumper light I'm thinking stick with a combo spot/flood.

I might even go ahead and replace my stock fogs with a set of squadrons of an undecided beam pattern. They will likely be a combo spot/flood beam.
The goal is to have a very versatile and useful light setup for all conditions and travel speed.

Opinions and input are welcome. :argue:

Buy cheap Amazon lights, when they break from a tree, rock, when you plow through a field of little people (midgets/dwarfs) then your not upset

    Yes, BD.

I have their Squadron Sport Wide Cornering in my bumper. Because they're angled, they serve the same purpose as ditch lights.

I have some S2's I just got for my rear bumper.

Reach out to @ramonortiz55 ; his deal was better than anything I've seen before.

Yes it was. I installed them on saturday and so far they seem good enough for me for now. Seem to be about the same as stock just taking me some adjusting after how bad my last rotors where warped.:rofl:Heres the link again and its also in the products discussed a the bottom of the page.

I get that way of thinking and I dont want to really push my truck to the point of destroying the lights. If the lense gets busted from a tree or rock then BD's still arent a bad choice since you can get replacement lenses for $10-$15. I never did any damage to my current ditch lights and already have to replace them.

Hmm hadnt thought about wide cornering as an option. It would probably work great as fog replacements but I dont think they would work for me to eliminate the ditch lights. I want light closer to the doors to light up the area between the cab and front bumper when on a tight trail. I've been thinking about some flush s2's or something similar for my rear bumper. I'd have to cut holes for flush mounting which I would want to do.

@SuperBad I think my lights would work great as ditch lights for you; but ultimately it’s up to you.

I also just found out I’ll be getting a 380lb package on Monday. :)

@ETXTacoma weren't you possibly parting with some BD lights?

    (INSERT @Tacoaric meme)
Just get the Rigids. The side shooter is still the best style for ditch lights IMO. May as well get the real deal

:woot::woot::woot: You went through some BS to finally be getting one. Cant wait to see it installed!

@ETXTacoma is this true? I do like the coverage the side shooters provide, I need to move my cb antenna if I go with that style again. The glare off of it was annoying out on trails.

yw, you really cant get a beat that deal. I would bet they are better than what you can get from any local auto store even remotely close to that price. Cheapest I found local was around like $130. I'll happily take equal or slightly better quality for $40 cheaper!

Not sure, I've heard mixed experiences. I may reach out to try and save money because leaking in under a yr is BS. The PC on them was damaged when I opened them but it wasnt enough to hassle with trying to get them to replace them. They havent left me feeling great about their quality.

To warranty them you have to pay to ship them back to CA, then they will inspect make sure you didn't alter them

Thanks for the info. Probably not worth my time or effort to send them back. While I've never altered them with my luck they will claim its my fault for one reason or another and then I'm out more money.

That will be happening, just need to take a pic sometime. Maybe I'll tear them apart and try and re-seal them if they still work for some aux lights off the bed cage that get used even less. Cant make it any worse than they are now.

I've found public shaming a solid tool when the official process is lacking
