The roller was inexperienced or sloppy. Or took a shortcut. I understand they are under pressure to roll a certain number in a hour or shift to maintain their position.

You might enjoy an Isla del Sol; I had one this weekend and it reminded me of a 'grown up' Swisher Sweet. Very mellow, okay flavor with plenty of smoke and a nice even burn, but not too harsh even during the last inch or so. Even had that sugary coating on the end of the wrapper that they put on the Swisher wood tips. Not a particularly long smoke, but it paired well with a glass of Rye and some sun.

Asked my local shop to bring these in for me

    CAO Robusto Moontrance :D

I've never had one in this size, always the petite corona or the cigarellos in moontrance.

For $8 it is in line with the other ones I smoke.

    Will report back.

Wasn’t thrilled with the moontrance robusto- the last 3” started to break up on me and I chalk that up to a I’ll-maintained box of smokes.
Must be an old box that somehow got to dry. :notsure:

    This is this evenings fare:

    Kuba Grande :D

It’s Friday and I’m gonna enjoy a monster smoke in my shop. :D

That's dedication. I usually stub mine out when they get down to an 1.5" or so.

Sat on the porch in the sun (there's nothing like a sunny 36 degree day in March!) yesterday and smoked this one. Okay flavor, started out very rich and mellow but got a little harsher/more bitter than I was expecting towards the end. But, no harm no foul; a glass of Buffalo Trace held up pretty well against it, and when it got stronger than I wanted I just took the nippers and clipped off another 1/8 inch from the end and finished it off
