No it's not an inside joke... people in the fab really do wear bunny suits. That's what their called but it's not some kinky strip club thing lol..



He works in the sub fab (below the main fab floor) so he doesn't have to wear that shit, just a hair net, long pants, gloves, and some covers for the shoes (at least at F32).

And yea, I think you'd have a chance if they're doing hiring... but there are a lot of people that have industry experience which would bump you way down that list unfortunately. Still, worth a chance.

i wear normal clothes. i don't have to wear any of that stuff. the only requirement is long pants, steel toes when working, safety glasses and a hard hat when i leave my area. those guys are in smocks, so that outfit is still better than a bunny suit

Oh snap i didn't even catch it was smocks... looks damn near the same but I missed the guy in the middle lol.

 

He got beat by another illegal. Supposedly, he was messing around with dude's girlfriend and dude got pissed, drove over to his place after beating his girl and opened up a can-o-whoop ass on the little guy. Broke his shoulder ribs and we think he fractured his skull. The suspect was my size allegedly. Still looking for him.

why what happened?

 

I called and was talking to them about alignments specs and ordered a t-shirt and requested one of their large logo stickers for my front skid like the one on their 5 lug race truck. Since they are always closed fridays they are just leaving all my stuff at Kar Tek for me so I can pick it up friday. Also you get to talk with real people there at the shop.

heard back from that hiring manager, he said that they are unable to consider external candidates. he wouldn't go into anymore detail. sorry

 

After re-looking at mine... actually they are full bunny suits, the one guy has rubber boots on I presume for EEW stuff...

Gah... $347.60 for my power bill this month. Outrageous for a 1500sqft house (not even that actually)
