I did the gravity bleed on the accumulator delete, but those hand vacs are very handy. Mityvac has one that pulls vacuum and can apply pressure.

I was the same, felt the difference but I wouldn't say it's night and day. But I think there was another adjustment to be made to the clutch? Feels like I have to depress 80% of the pedal before it starts to grab.

Better than the opposite which is the issue I have. Clutch grabs damn near at the top. Been wanting to do the push rod adjustment bc I think that’s the issue but haven’t had time

    Same.

From the factory, the clutch rod freeplay adjustment on my truck was such that the release point was a bit further from the top. But, all this meant was the pedal was not actually doing anything for the first bit of the stroke. It actually made quite a noticeable "click" when the pedal smacked into the top of the rod. I don't think much can be done if everything is left stock...

The clicking and sideways pedal movement was fixed for me by adjusting the pedal preload rod, as others have mentioned. The dealer said it was "within spec" but it sure as heck wasn't... I also fixed the creaking return spring with a dab of black moly grease.

Yep, I did the same thing. Doing the rod free play adjustment according to the SM tightened everything up, but moved the release point closer to the top of the pedal stroke (unfortunately). That's just how these trucks are, apparently.

Well, you could hit Mat up via zendesk regardless.

He needs seat time with M/T trucks IMO.

Age is nothing man. My car at 18 was WAY cooler and modified than what I daily now.

Awesome gents I’m with you @OVTune can truly gain understanding on what we’re feeling in the MT sector. Not only raw data from a dyno run but the butt dyno time is priceless! Thank you for your efforts!:hattip:

+1 for @OVTune being able to take advantage of the opportunity of getting in a MT to feel what's going on and give some much needed direct attention to the platform, especially in our 2-3k rpm range

Why is that a problem? It used to mean the disk was about worn out - but that isn't the case with the Taco's hydraulic setup. If I only have to push the clutch a 1/2" to make a shift I'm happier than having to stroke the thing all the way to the floor.

I had 93 in my tank for at least 4 tanks before trying the new FOB 93 tune. We are on winter gas here, so that is another variable. The truck doesn't see too many miles now, although I made sure to give it a couple tanks to settle. I'm just going to keep driving it at this point. It's certainly behaving better than it was, and I'm hoping for a MT on the dyno in the somewhat near future.

Hmm. Perhaps what we're experiencing at 2-3k is just a symptom of poor winter gas then? I suppose that's certainly possible

Question, I want to make sure I am right about some things…

With 1.05 out, what are the tunes available for the manual transmission? And what is their primary objective? It seems like the auto has a few more tunes available, is that correct
