Brought home a new front tire for the tractor last week. I set it down on the floor and literally less than 10 seconds later (I walked in, set it down, and was still taking my jacket off)....
    20190227_213055.jpg

Also, walked out into the sun room yesterday to check on the fire in the cook stove and discovered:

And he knows he's not allowed on the table. Zero F*cks

My wife took a nap yesterday. She was quickly joined by these bums

And my youngest daughter comforting this sweet old gentleman at the shelter. An owner give-up at 13 years old. Who keeps an animal for over a dozen years only to give them up? That's tough. What a sweetheart he was. Sad.

Its like art work, with the three we never know what we are going to get. It either stinky poop or barf, once and a while it is both then they want food again. what a vicious cycle.

And stories like that are why I don't go to the shelter. I'd have 20 old cats because I'm a soft touch. The GF says I'm soft in the head, lol. She can go in, visit with them while she's there, and then leave. I'll spend the next week thinking about them and then go adopt them, lol.

No too well. Almost trapped him but he escaped the carrier. We are renting a humane trap from Pet Helpers no kill rescue. He has something going on with his mouth now. He is drooling a long stream & shaking his head in pain. His ears are bloody from fighting again. He's an elusive scrapper but we will get him to a vet soon. It really is heartbreaking to see him suffer.
My wife says it looks like a burn on his back too.

That's a kind kid you have there. Well done Dad.

I sure hope the old guy finds a home with someone who doesn't dump him when things become inconvenient. We don't know the specifics of his situation, but dumping a long time pet just when he starts getting to the age that they need extra help is pretty low in my opinion.

She's stronger than I am, lol. I'll donate food and litter every so often, but I can't actually go in and interact without ending up bringing them home .
