    Looked closer . Can't drill it, you have HVAC going through. How far from a load bearing wall? Notch or pad it up . Its a remodel, you end up doing stuff that isn't always ideal. Like the saying goes, I can do anything, how much money do you have. You can't go in a change layout and you don't want to head it off.

    If y'all have more time. I'm replacing a toilet. When I put the new one in it was rocking back and forth. Do I just need shims or does this stainless ring need to be secured to the concrete slab? Right now it rotates completely around.

    The flange should not be spinning. As far screwing it down to the concrete...I dunno. I’ve only dealt with sub flooring, not slab.

    Also, yea, the rocking comes from the tiles being different elevation. Just shim it.
