    Obviously something I will confirm before I get serious. You are most likely correct though because...........

    I contacted a place in York, Pa. about used caps yesterday and the sales team were busy but the receptionist said they had over 300 caps. When they finally called me back they said they didn't have anything for 2017 and up. So like you are right Tyler. Not sure how that would matter though to a utility type cap that just fits in the hole or a DCU style cap. Those are not as form fitting.

    Thats unfortunate. I was genuinely curious because I thought the 2g had a little bit different bed size than the 3g and the height from the top of the bed to the top of the cab was different too, but I am by no means an expert, so I was just wondering.

    Yea, I wouldn't care so much about the added height but if the tailgate is a inch wider on the 3rd that would be stupid to settle. Especially since I plan on getting the MX which is a good 5+ inches taller than the cab anyway.
