@BamaTaco56 My welding table shipped out today. Should be delivered on Monday. So far, I'd highly recommend buying a table from weldtables.com, they seem to have it together. The trick is going to be moving this enormous thing after its delivered. It weighs 285 pounds without legs. I have a feeling it'll weight well over 350 once I build the legs and all the other stuff for it.

 

That sounds miserable to try to maneuver haha

 

you're getting a cool welding table, I'm getting a fume hood delivered....such fun...for you...

 

Absolutely will be. Its going to be the only non-moving piece of equipment in my garage once its built. It'll be nice to have a rock solid work surface though.

Oh... duh. Kitchen stuff. I need one of those fume extractors for welding steel with chemical coatings. I swear I get nauseous every time I have to weld a zinc plated nut to something. Even with proper ventilation, it sucks.

So when you getting those 12 inch Kings? My wife keeps asking when I'm going to be getting rid of that "special box of steel" in our pantry/storage closet. Those shock towers are just itching to get installed.

Nah man. I was just thinking about it. Figured I’d ask. It’s something else to give you a hard time about. Lol. But fun fact, those Ford shock towers are just as beefy, just not as attractive since it’s stamped 1/4” steel instead of laser cut.

 

haha killing me!! I'm ready for this house stuff to get gone! I just hate having money in "limbo" and not knowing 100% where I stand. Like I'm financially fine, and the money is there to pay everyone no problem, I just hate looking at bank accounts and having to do the math to see what's left over at the end lol.

It’s actually been quite the tool for me buying my welding equipment. Granted, I have a plan set up in order to pay it off within the 6 month no interest window and could pay it off all at once if necessary but it’s helped me keep my welding expenses separate from our personal finances. Stresses the wife out less.
