My idea of a clip on one side of the fob would minimize bottle opener interference. Not sure how that would feel when clipped on a pocket though since the clip would be off center. I like the idea of the clip being off center from a pocketability (I know not a word :p )standpoint.

    What about this?

Fold the clip around the device length, it WILL cost more, but it should work.

Just release one batch of the OG minimalist fob aka fab fob, then get some group sources real world feedback /polls etc.

Yup.. that was my next approach. That way any keys attached would hang DOWN in your pocket

Deep carry means the clip allows the material being clipped to to be flush with the end of the device. The clip either has to come off of the top surface, or be bent up from the mounting point and back down into a clip to allow for this. The benefit is burying the entire device at or below the line of your pocket for instance.

I personally prefer deep carry clips so I have no knife body sticking out of my pocket. Helps keep me from banging my knife into things and getting it snagged. It does hinder the ability to remove it from your pocket sometimes, but I prefer this trade off. Plus it's more stealth looking and in my mind lower risk of the item falling out of my pocket.

The first knife (silver knife) in this post is considered 'deep carry' while the second one (black knife) is a traditional or not deep carry.

Hopefully the clip, if there is a clip, will be an add on option.

I’m in the minimalist while retaining OEM button functionality camp. I certainly would prefer not to buy/pay for a clip that I’m just going to throw away.

Also, I know you already have most of it designed, but if you go the route of lengthening the clip, perhaps you could throw in a support screw. It will keep the fob together as well as keep the long clip from bending...

Too many types of phones. Maybe when someone monopolizes the Coms industry, we will all move to a single device....one of us....

I appreciate all the input.. but at the end of the day there's no possible way to incorporate everyones ideas. I will be sticking with the BARE minimalist fob as the design is done and started tooling up. Once everything is running smooth, I will entertain the idea of accessory "add-ons", but it will have to work around the pre exisiting fob. Example: Pocket clip will have to mount to the existing 2 screws. I can't go changing the mold for every little addition.

Not at all. A pocket Clip is definitely at the top of the accessory list. I'm just putting it out there so I don't get the: Let's add a phillips #2 bit on the side, letter opener on the back, and flint starter on the top suggestions.:goingcrazy:
