How much are you paying for your 2019 Tacoma?

Purchased last wkend. '19 TRD Sport 6spd with technology & premium package, all season mats, door sill protector, predator tube steps & exhaust tip. MSRP $39,727, paid $36K+TTL.

 

Update on this, I did end up getting this back on Saturday on 3/2/19. And absolutely love it the numbers I felt good about and it beat the hell out of the deal another dealer was trying push.

 

What kind of price can I expect on a 19 TRD dbl cab 4x4, auto and Premium/tech pkg. MSRP is approx $42,000.00, plus ttl.

That’s a high MSRP man. You might as well just buy a Pro in that price range and believe me I am a huge advocate for not buying a Pro due to the jump in price versus a perfectly good OR without all the tech and stuff. You gotta really bring them down or keep shopping.

 

Thanks, I'm shopping right now. I'm waiting to see if the rebates increase. Also probably this summer there will be better prices to move the 19's.

Not sure exactly where you are located in the central US, but go to cars.com and search around for prices in different areas for the same options you want. You will probably be surprised how much some dealerships knock off of msrp even before you start negotiating. I’m not sure rebates will rise all that soon but once the 20’s come out I’m sure it will increase to 1,500 cash back like they did with the 18’s when the 19’s were selling.

 

Following up on this. We picked up the truck over the weekend. Below is the breakdown. Pretty thrilled on the price. Let me know what you all think.

What advice can u give me on negoiating a deal like that?

 

My best advice is to get quotes from all the dealers within a hundred miles or so from you and play them against each other. Do it all over email then over the phone if needed. Living in the Northern VA area, there had to be over 15 dealers i could chose from. One of them is bound to be desperate to make a deal.

Also, below is am email I have used when pricing cars. Feel free to edit it to your needs and send out to all the dealers around your area. Helps get them to give you a serious offer right off the bat.

Take these offers and tell the dealers "i have another dealer offering me $XXXXX, I need you to beat it". Keep doing that till you find rock bottom.

I also like to, once I have decided which deal i am going to go with, try to get a couple of the accessories I like thrown in. Say something like "I will be down tomorrow to purchase if you can throw in _________ for that price". That is how I got the black accents added.
