Hotrod, which is the larger drill size.

Still good, downshifting is predictable but upshifts are around the same rpm just much harder at wot and much firmer at part throttle.

    Sure.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/trg-340-hd2 Its actually gotten cheaper. You'll need to order valve body gaskets from somebody, I called and ordered from transgo but I'm sure there are easier ways.

It did not describe them, no. It does provide you with drill bits and instructions on what to drill for what setting.

If you're not sure whether or not you want the crap beat out of you, I would start at truck and if you want more spend another weekend and do the hot rod one, but be warned you'll lose any comfort driving in traffic you had before (it really makes you feel second in traffic).

    EDIT: Truck not tow

I used truck shifts. 1-2 is pretty noticeable half the time in traffic. It’s most noticeable when you slow way down to almost a stop the slowly ease on the throttle like when a light turns green before you get there. It’s a thud and sorta lurches forward. Getting on it from a stop smoothes it out and it’s not noticeable.

All other shifts are fine. Quicker but not harsh at all.

The biggest down sides is that it sucks ass, makes a mess, and made me quite nervous.

Basically you are reducing time between shifts and increasing line pressure and therefore decreasing heat and slippage.

So not really worth it unless you are making serious power or trying to squeeze every last drop of performance out of your engine then right?

Pretty much. From what I hear the Truck setting is more tame. Even with stock power though the shift kit makes the truck much more fun.

Yes, from what I understand the cheaper one is just the pressure mod part without anything that reprograms the valve body.
