I've managed to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. I'm down to less than 6 months until retirement age, maybe less than a month until disability is approved, and flat out of incentive to keep fighting this fight. At some point in the very near future, all ducks will align in a neat, orderly row.....and they'll wonder where I disappeared to. It WAS all about leaving under my own terms. Now it's just all about leaving....any way I can.

Had to sit there and bite my lip. 2 other "managers" here that have (collectively) 3 years experience are now being critical of the way I do business. Boss taking their side. Time to let these kids have it.....

 

I feel the same way here with our shake up. One of the new bosses shot down my recommendation of keeping the job (digitally) on our server here where the workers are and instead put the data on the server in another city, using the "we are going to be cloud based anyway soon". I talked to my IT guys. 11 months at best. The job will be billed and done in 3 max. But hey, what do I know.

Of course they are all about telling you to wok more efficiently when it comes to billing and invoices. LOL Working across servers like this adds approximately 25% more time to all operations.

 

My Former workplace hit the News yesterday. Not gettin into the boring details but those “Executives” couldn’t manage their way thru a Drive Thru. I Lol’d hard.

 

Yea, and I am finding out more and more little by little what got my boss fired. Apparently it's not ok to fund one project with money from another

 

That depends on a lot of things. My old workplace should be a model of what you DON’T do. They should bus students there to see for themselves
