Ya know, of course I am biased...but I can't imagine NOT having a vizsla at this point. My girl is 7 now; breaks my heart to think she's likely half-done.

 

Reminds me of my boy Kairo. Had to put him and Dizzy G down within a few month of each other and right around when my son was born. That was years ago but I still miss them all the time. My son is 9, we finally feel like we have the time to devote to a new pup. On the lookout!

The gf just sent me this.

 

Poor pups was attacked by another dog while my dog walker was taking her for a stroll. The owner of the other dog had no control. Luckily, the walker and a passerby both were quick to react and doggo came out of it OK. Poor walker is a bit worse for wear, though. People suck.

Dakota is still growing, she’s now nicknamed Tank because of her weight and how she lumbers around.
