So I just left the office and you had me paranoid enough to test how close I was. Both passenger doors fully open with space to spare.

I purposely park in no mans land to avoid anyone from parking next to me. I dont care if it's a Taco,Tundra ,Porsche or a spaceship. I parked that far away so no one would park next to me. I hate door dings and assholes that park next to me.

I'd write the license number down. There are some jealous, vindictive sons of bitches out there that'll get the last laugh and key your truck for being cute. As recommended above, one spot over, but tires almost on the line so there is not enough space that someone else would park between you two. I'm the other guy and I see that? I'd know you were looking out for the both of us and the sides of our vehicles. Then you'd get props.

If he's parking way out there to get away from people, don't be a dick. One spot over.

I cannot say I do so in the middle of nowhere but I do park next to other trucks that are parked correctly assuming the driver will protect his own by not messing with mine.

I wasn't paying attention, walked up to "my truck" and grabbed the door handle. It didn't open. Then I saw it's a short-bed.
Miney was parked in front of it.

If you are parking out there to get away from people parking next to you and someone parks next to you it can only be three things: you are not parking far enough out, he has "adopted an alternate lifestyle" and is attracted to you, or both. Park farther away, or acknowledge that you enjoy the attention.

Maybe you should put a sign that says "Don't park next to me! I will come to your house and key your truck!"

In what world would someone key your vehicle because you parked next to them (assuming you do so giving them space).

I'd hate to live where you live if people are keying cars for things like this.

I would have parked one spot over just because there are tons of open spaces, but who honestly gives a hoot as long as he didn't ding his door... It's a parking lot, not the guy's driveway.

Seriously some folks here are agro as fuck. It's a truck in a public parking lot. It's not a Lambo.

If another Taco parks next to you, they aren't being a dick, or inconsiderate, or gay, or trying to be cool, or show superiority. Jesus Christ. Are some of yall really this fucking weird and anti-social in real life or just when it comes to parking lots?

Really? I guess you coming out to your just-keyed car you'd just put another crystal pyramid on your dashboard and brew yourself a cup of chamomile tea? In my world we don't let that slide. The license plate will come in handy about then, along with Walmart's security camera loop. i'd be pissed as shit. But then, I'm not going to be the one parking next to somebody's car obviously parked way out there to get way from people like that.

I think you may be the only person who likes to park that close to ANY other vehicle when there's an empty lot. WTF dude

    exactly

It's amazing how people like to back into spaces but can't do it right, even to save their own life. It doesn't look cool if you do it like a bozo.
Can't count how many times I've parked off in desolation-land and I come back to see someone backed into the spot next to me with their driver's side door way to F 'in close to my vehicle.
    People are A hol les.
