Where did you buy your headlights

 

The headlights are BHLM or Black Head-Light Mod

There are several threads on this forum on how to do this yourself. Or, if you aren't patient enough, you can purchase them from online retailers. Just do a google search for Tacoma Black Headlights or BHLM, something should show up.

 

I feel like the mod day is knocking at my door again... must. resist. the. urge.

 

What kind of lift do you have? I have an 06 4x4 Access l4 and I wanna lift it about 3" and get some bigger tires.

I know it's none of my concern but how the hell are your sliders mounted?

 

Haha. They are bolt on. Because I have been a bum, I keep forgetting to have them welded on.

On a complete sidenote, the mod bug has hit me again. Been saving a few $$ over the last 6 months and figured better mods than drugs!

Kris (TRDguyKC) is giving me some pointers as I type. I may remove the URD Y-Pipe from the list. We shall see...

 

Parts have been ordered but I removed the URD Y-pipe from my order.

 

What I meant is....I can't see how/where they are mounted! Help please!

 

DWreck, they are just bolted on. Look under the cab and you'll see that right before the frame is a rail with pivet holes. They are mounted to those bad boys

 

Oh! I see now. That probably has no strength what so ever does it?

 

It's actually surprisingly strong. Certainly enough to hold three people with a total weight of around 750 lbs... haha, yes we tested

BUUUUT, you definitely do not want to do major hardcore rock-rubbin' without at least welded them up.

 

That was what I figured. I do some rock rubbin so I need mine mounted to the frame...when I get some.

 

Andy why did you take the y-pipe off the list?

 

Kris (TRDguyKC) told me it drones a little too much and didn't make that much of a difference for the price. He recommended that I look into custom fabbing the Y-pipe/ mid-section instead of spending that $500.

Headers shipped from URD earlier this morning. But the damn MAF calibrator is apparently out of stock... GRRR

 

awesome man, when do you plan on putting them on?
