    So, where has everyone else placed any accessory switches? My '09 doesn't have any blanks to the left of the stering wheel where most people put them, so just wondering if anyone has done anything "creative"... I have plans for at least two things that will require accessory switches (off road lights and hard wired power inverter), so not sure where they will go yet.

    How do you like the after market heated seats? Do they do a good job? I had them standard in my Yukon and didn't realize you could get them after market for the Tacoma. Might help me get through my first Minnesota winter.......

    oil change...
    I mounted my off road light switches in the little pop out compartment to the left under where all the blank switch spots are. since that little space is too small to really hold anyting bigger than a pack of gum...I thought it would be a cool place to put my switches. Ill get some pics up later today

    They're really nice. I have seat covers so they'll probably work better/faster without the seat covers. They take a bit to warm up, so if you're doing short trips to the store - they won't warm up fast enough. I drive 9 miles to work and after 2 miles, they're nice'n'toasty.

    This is exactly what I had in mind (found on another site)! Have you guys ever seen this kind of thing? I wonder, does the plastic just sit there? I'm not any good at fabricating plastic/fiberglass... Although, this looks just like a simple, flat piece of plastic that sits in there...

    Now, I wouldn't have the wires come through the hole - I'd get switches that have connections in the back, but essentially the same thing.
