How far into the canyon from Fish Creek was that recent rock slide?

I heard some people say that yes it was a recent rock slide. And not too far in, that was the first major obstacle going into the canyon.

Keep those windshield wipers on the window, your blades will not get damaged unless yo upturn them on. You wear the springs out doing that and they do not work as effectively.

Blades that freeze to the window from snow get damaged when you scrape them off.

I’d rather replace a blade once every 3 months then hav to replace the spring in a wiper. And in 25 yers fo driving i’ve never had a wiper blade last longer then 2-3 months regardless of whether it’s winter or summer.

It’s better to leave them down, as the springs stretches and you do nto get good contact on the wipers. It’s been proven. I’ll see if I can dig up the articles on it.

Got bored coming back from Prescott so took Senator Hwy from Prescott to Phoenix through crownking. Nothing terrible but I did get a love tap (dent) in my stock toyo plate

Dang, that's a hike! How long did it take you and was the love tap an "oops" or was it really a sketchy part? The trail as a whole doesn't look complicated.

North of Crownking it’s not bad except maybe 2 spots and south of it’s there is another 2-3. If you only want to do part you can take bumblebee out and only do the north or south, south is worse. The rest is not bad stuff with the occasional rough, which is a bit worst at the moment due to the snow melting. The love tap was a good size rock hidden when going through a small stream. Glad the plate is there though, just might be time to upgrade it to something tougher. There are some good videos of Senator hwy on YouTube to give you a better idea

Went out last weekend to Peacock Flats on Oahu to test how the taco would do in some mud and to shoot some photos with a couple friends and their taco. Stock wheels/tires and suspension did well until I got stuck in some soft clay on an incline and had to get winched out. I’ve been piecing my lift together so all that’s left is for some 888’s and new leafs. Probably gonna lose the predators too. Plenty of fun was had though!

Looks great. Did your gas cap cover come off a different truck?

Great photos. The last one shows some type of canvas over your soft top. Is it an awning ?
