    Mine did that on all four corners, waiting for the MESO one to release, hopefully I can get one so I don’t have to go back to the awful stock one...

    Don't know, but it's soft and scratches easily. However, the OEM ones from our 2013 Highlander still look new.

    I’ve never held, owned, or examined one... but it looks like ABS which can mar and break easier. Just speculating, not bashing at all. Your OEM key fobs are made of a polycarbonate ABS (PC+ABS) or PA6 which withstands scratching and impact much better.

    I had an AJT and it looked worse then my wife’s 2010 venza key fob in less then a month. Just scratched to easy and looked worn. I put my stock one back on. I’ll be waiting for one of these instead.

    PC+ABS with a “micro” pebble texture (look at your stock fob finish) it will be very close to that. In fact if you pop it open it’s even stamped on the inside

    Lol I’m taking an educated guess. But the mounting is pretty beef, with brass threaded inserts, 3MM metal keyring and SS screws.
    correct and it’s a TAD bit stronger, but the PC+ABS will give good surface detail. Either way, they are both great materials. If it’s good enough for Toyota to use in all their fobs..it’s works for me

    The inserts will make it better than any other fobs on the market.

    Unless someone is planning to put a bushing in to these things with a shoulder bolt that’s going to be the best bet. Another problem with the AJT fobs is that there is a small gap between the two halves before they’re torqued down. The plastic has to handle that stress and ABS is horrible for that.
