I love everything about my truck except for the entune unit and the backup camera quality.
Does anyone else feel the same way? Are there options out there to make them better?

Also heard and saw some people do aftermarket systems that are similar and much better

I can understand the issue with entune, but what is wrong with the camera quality?

It's just really grainy. My girlfriend has a 16 Camry xse or whatever and that 16 model has a better camera then my 19 taco.

I think my 14 Civic had a better camera but I think that could be due to it being closer to the ground. is it possible that the Camry is a similar thing or is it a really dramatic difference?

Out of curiosity what exactly do you not like about the entune unit besides the backup camera?

    So get an aftermarket deck.

The camera quality is definitely better than most vehicles ive been in. Better than my dads 2018 f150. Not great in the dark, but i haven't seen one that is.

What i found was it gets dirt built up fairly easily that impairs the video quality. When was the last time you cleaned it? I usually walked by and gave it a finger wipe every other day in the winter

I traded a '16 Camry in on my Taco. The camera did seem to be a little better but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I just want to see if anything is behind me. I'm not gonna watch Game Of Thrones on it. As for the Entune, I'm waiting to see if the 2020 head units will swap into our older models. I'd really like to have Carplay. Then I can watch Game Of Thrones on it.

The camera actually isn't bad, it's the screen of the stock head unit. I replaced mine with a Pioneer and it looks just as good as the one that was in my '15 Cherokee.

No. It's one less station to cycle through then switching from BT to FM. Even if xm was $1/month I still wouldn't pay for it.

It feels like the Camry had more pixels or something. I can barely see my dog if she comes out to the garage at night.

Have you changed out your license plate bulbs? That can wash the screen out. I don’t have any issues when backing up clarity wise.

    This one: https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/DVD+Receivers/AVH-2440NEX
Along with the SiriusXM tuner and necessary adapters.

You'll want the iDataLink Maestro and its adapters to go with it. This way you can reuse the stock Sirius and regular antennas, USB and AUX ports, and steering wheel controls.

I think you'll find that unit cost prohibitive. I think the current entune is upwards of $2k?
