I've seen it, and first thought. Dumb fuck!
Alone, nobody knew were he was, and nothing but the trash in his 4runner to survive on.
Hes lucky to be alive, and poor dog, if the dog was a kid, he would be shunned upon for neglect. We can only educate those that listen. I always say natural selection will weed out the rest. It's called evolution.
Hopefully he learned lesson and will help a few others learn from his stupid mistake.
I was young once and because I trusted the driver was stuck in a similar situation. Lucky for us it was in a more popular location and we had help the next day. But it ould of easily gone bad..
I only get heated as I hate o see bad story's as it makes us all look bad. I love to wheel and many trails have been closed due to lack of education, and respect to the lands we love.
Tread lightly, pack it in pack it out, respect others and be curtiouse. Keep locations off public forums. The lat one only because the A holes and lurkers dont care about respect.
    They trash are lands.
I've seen it over and over in the last 20+ yrs . It will only get worse as I can't stop it, but, I can educate those around me in hopes they spread the word enough, to slow it down long enough, for us to not see the end.
Fishing, my other hobbie is another good example. Keep your spots private as you can.
Dont believe me. Look at fish sniffer mag then go to any of the spots featured in the magazine the following weekend. Hundreds will be there. Lol

I will try not to let stupid get to me no more. I'd rather sit back and watch them fail over and over just too eliminate the ones who won't ever get it. Natural selection?! Yeah, great entertainment.

By "trails" do you mean dirt roads below 4000'?

Visit Hollister OHV but with the rains, might not be a good idea.

I lived in Hollister 3 years ago and got burnt out on that place, I visit again a few weeks ago during the MLK weekend and was reminded why I stopped going. But it was fun to smash around in the rain!

I'm guessing most trails are covered in snow at the moment, or are a muddy, sloppy mess.

I was planning on going to Hollister this weekend, but it's been raining cats and dogs this week. I will be going there in 21st with some Jeep guys. Hopefully, it won't rain much after this :fingerscrossed:

I live at just under 4,000', over the snow vehicles are the only thing going for many weeks to come. Snow off my deck is 30" still.

I might be down there this weekend. Got a buddy from work that just picked up a 3rd gen and wants to go play. If we do go we'll probably stick to the easier trails because of the rain and how new he is. I'll probably still break something :anonymous:
