Truck Passed SMOG! (CA)

    i have a knN air filter, TRD catback, and a magna flow, and it passed. soo surprised ! :p

    King coilovers frt +3". Bilstein 5100 shocks rear w/AAL, K&N FIPK, Magnablow exhaust, Billet grill, clear corner lights, Sony stereo, JBL, Sub etc.
    Why? The K&N and TRD CB are legal in Ca. (unless you messed w/the cats :) )
    My 03 has basically the same set-up (K&N FIPK CAI, but w/a Magnablow muff) and I passed no prob as well

    .....My 92 Jeep is gettin' smogged mañana...Its got 260,000. Still rips!

    I've been wondering if my trd cai would pass smog. The first non carb legal one. I realize this is under the 1st gen forum, but anyone have prior experince with this?

    It all depends on the smog place. I went to 1 they did not want to pass my truck cause my Airaid modular intake tube didnt have a carb sticker so they failed my truck. I toook it to the next place they couldnt give a rats ass if it was carb legal or not as long as it had factory connections. I know who im going to for my next smog. Now I have a fuel cell to worry about

    Oh, just asking. What part of Chino Hills you from?
