    I'd rather not think of all the $ spent :(
    I'd check with Bobby @Cascadia Tents but I looked at mine (Rainier) and my footprint for sleeping area matches the website minus the notched area for the support arms. I got a 3lb foam mattress from Amazon and love it. It's a bit heavy when closing but after a lot of use last year on the stock mattress, it helps alot!

    So after 6 years and numerous adventures I think my Mt. Hood RTT cover is pretty spent...
    Somehow I must have been bitten by a tree my last time out... found this tear on the top by the ladder:

    I do store it indoors in my shop when not in use. I stand it up on end to save space.
    Showing pretty good wear.


    Prior to building the fairing the front got some great exposure to bugs. That poor CVT logo has seen better days. :(


    Very much looking forward to this coming weekend - I’ve got Friday, Sat, & Sunday night to enjoy my comfy RTT. :D

    Any advice on repairing the cover Bobby @Cascadia Tents?

    Those seams look great for 6 years. I got my tent early last year, and within a few months a couple of the corners started coming undone. I contacted CVT and they sent me out a replacement immediately. Fantastic customer service. I've since tried repairing the seams with seam tape and glue, which has held up pretty well so far, but the other week I notice a third seam coming undone as well. idk, maybe a bad batch of glue at the factory?? :notsure:

    I got a repair kit for fishing waders that I keep on hand. Haven't had to use it but keep it in the glove box just in case

    had an oh crap moment last night with my tent...somehow i missed a tooth on the zipper last time i closed it and when i got home from work last night 2/3 of the zipper was split open. wouldn't budge. so i grabbed a rag and toothbrush and some warm soapy water. scrubbed the zipper to clean it up a but and while it was still wet from the soap I was able to get the zipper head worked back to the snag. got it to finish opening correctly and then washed everything down again. dried it, waxed it, and it closed up just like new. thought i was going to be on the phone with Bobby having him overnight me a new cover :laugh:

    Last Saturday my wife and I went to CVT in a Chattanooga to pick up our Mt. Rainier Extended Pioneer. Great service there by Tom and hopefully we can get out and put it to use after our schedules calm down a little bit. We’ve set it up once, but don’t have any time in it yet.

    Also my new Summit Awning mounted as well.
