I recently had Goose Gear install there rear seat delete in my truck. It’s comes in either 60 or 40 delete. I went with the whole delete. It’s a total of 4 pieces walls and bottoms.

It has roughly 20 threaded points for tie down attachments or threaded hook points. You can even add the gooses gear drawers onto it.

The floor has 4 lockable storage hatches and are all flush mounted.

Contact Goose-gear.com for more info. Or call 844-466-7334 Brett

Goose Gear is located in Westminster Ca

Super cool... but at about $500 a side that is rough.. I understand the major issue here is the fact that the item is not massed produced and there is a lot of design work..

What is this made out of? is it a coated plywood or plastic.

It's a high density plastic. I like their stuff, but my wallet cries every time I remotely consider it.

Edit: Turns out it's plastic coated marine ply.

A quick google search... An 1/2 HDPE sheets 48" x 48" is something like $120. Plus lots of design and fabricating work as they are not mass producing so price though rough is understandable. 99% of the year I can run the truck as a three seater but once a year I need to go back to 4 seats so wonder how long it takes to put the seats back.

Haven't done it personally, but it's pretty quick if I remember.

Yes, it’s wood coated in bullet liner, with aluminum framing. They use a cad design for structure and strength. It’s a lot more thought out than linex’d mdf lol.

It is not plastic. It is marine grade ply then coated with aluminum reinforcement which is extremely strong and light weight

It will be available for the extra cab in the near future as well

I would seriously consiser this for my AC if it was available. I didn't buy it for the extra seats, and a built in storage solution would be pretty sweet.

I’ve been soo close to ordering this… my backseats are only used for storage and this would be perfect

Tacoma did such a good job designing a functional backseat I think this is pretty useless for most.

Will probably be more popular with the Ranger and Colorado since their backseats really suck, especially the ranger.

    Cool product for sure though.

Disagree here. AC is significantly hindered by the "passenger" seating installed. I personally have removed both flip up jump seats and the head rests to get them out of the way. I am not exaggerating when I say no one will ever ride back there in my truck.

Any chance you can measure the 40 side for me and tell me how much clearance I'd have to the door if I were to build a drawer unit on top of it? I'm seriously debating about taking out part of the back seat to make a storage unit and I'm curious how large it would be.

This is for a double cab.....

AC could probaby gain a huge advantage but irrelevant since that’s not the product here.

That's cool. I was commenting in the possibility of it being available for the AC in the near future as referenced above (before I even posted).

So yeah, relevant on a cool product that is in the works for AC trucks.

    Thanks for your input.

I’ll get some measurements for you guys on Monday I currently have a fridge mounted on the panel, pelican box, and camping gear stuffed on the panel. Didn’t buy mine for passengers just to cram gear in it!

It'll be interesting to see what they come up with for the AC. Sounds like they are too pricey for my budget, but ideas for DIY projects are always interesting. :)
