Dude, you went down the K hole there. Never go down the K hole.

For real, though. The bridge crossings didn’t get me as much as those water crossings did. That’s way deeper than I’d ever want to go.

I have so many questions about this video. Like, why does the Hilux have a bull bar and a backwards snorkel?

I'd like to be in the PM please. I can't commit right now though, there's no telling where I'll be in terms of work that far out.

    Jason,
My wife and her family are from Benton. We live in Harrison, but visit there a few times a year. I've always wanted to explore the Ouachita NF area. I've got plenty of time spent in the Ozark NF, though. So, if you ever want to get up this way (north of the river) let us all know. I wish I could get in on the CO trip, but I don't think I can take off work for that long...

I’ll be blowing through Harrison Sat AM to do a job in Branson, then on to STL to get my Flip Pac.

That’s pretty much what most people do through Harrison. It’s a great place to live, though. Centrally located to many things, but not “city” in the least sense.

I won't make the CO trip this year but if there's one next year I'm definitely interested. Too many things competing for funds right now.

    Yeah.
Dano is coming up from TX to help me move my daughter back home next weekend (just roommate issues, she will commute for the rest of the semester), so I am out for a weekend trip. Not sure how long he will stay, he's kind of in between jobs. May take some time off during SB, or maybe the following weekend if he is still around.

Yeh, I still have to use my truck as a truck. Those could work to make a modular system pretty easy

If I look at my fuelly logs, I can see where my mpg per tank definitely goes up when I take down my softopper. But, to be fair, during the last bit when I had it up, I had it on for duck season. That means dragging boats around and doesn't bode well for good mileage within itself.
