Weather.com is saying 1-3” throughout today but I’m highly doubtful since it supposed to be 38* Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40’s and cloudy, but no precipitation tomorrow or Sunday

I've been wearing shorts most of this week to work. So nice out this week down here. Overcast today but it's amazing.

One of the great mysteries of life that I never really considered until now...

Red Loctite... are there like 2 different types or brands or something? I either hear that it is impossible to remove a red loctited bolt without a torch, or that it's really not that big of a deal to break loose.

I swear I've never heard any account of red loctite being in between on the difficulty scale... is it because blue loctite comes in a red bottle and people are misunderstanding the difference?

    #just toilet thoughts...

Just add avocado with your bacon, they cancel each other out.

I will be in Flagstaff on Thursday and Saturday next week. Working a gig at NAU. If anyone needs anything shuttled. Staying Saturday night.

Also, my used my Tacoma as an actual truck today...

Also, got a call from one of the places I interviewed with. The carefree stay at home daddy days are over. I return to being a full time employee on Monday.

My ball joint separator is literally one thread too short.

UBJs are easy to separate anyways but I love that dang tool, most of the time a good crank on it will pop the stem out or it will wait until the backswing on your first hammer whack to pop on its own from the tension. It's one of those tools I have always kept in my tool chest and been like "man that thing has made my life easier so many times..."

Oh well... patient is prepped for weekend surgery. Did a lot of the setup like jack stands, wheels off, fender liners popped out, sway bar disconnected.:playball:
I've learned to pace myself better with my lupus, no shame in taking a few days to break it all down into smaller tasks.

Figured I’d pick your guys’ brains on this:
Basically I’m looking to potentially start an off-road collective/overland group for local military and veterans. With much of the recent thread talk being a great reminder of what many face and cope with, I’ve seen great successes with similar groups elsewhere. The simple ability to connect with others who understand you background can be monumental. I’ve found that wheeling, exploring, and being outdoors with folks can be some of the best therapy around. It isn’t so much about the exclusiveness to military and vets, as it is the brotherhood and networking. I’ve already talked with some folks on Luke who have a knack for wheeling and overlanding, and they were all for it. Basically regular trips to different destinations throughout the state or southwest, regular meets, charity work/community involvement, etc. Thoughts? Criticisms? Inputs?

out here looking at my spindle... am I just being a bit dense or is there any reason you couldn't just make a bolt-in gusset?

Like, UBJ stud to sway bar hole, sway bar hole to tie rod mount and upper brake caliper bracket... you'd have to source a slightly longer bolt for the brake caliper, but those all look like great parts to triangulate off of. Hell, all it has to do is keep that swan neck from folding so you could bolt it in at the sway bar hole, and triangulate off of the caliper and tie rod mounts. Install would take like an hour.

I guess there wouldn't be an easy way to make it sturdy enough and still clear CVs??
