I have heard of the cam tabs a few times. and heimed cams. Can someone explain this to a noob? I know the cams in LCA are for alignment, just not the rest of the terminology. If it means more adjustment then maybe I should look into it, as my tech says it is maxed out. But told me that before as well. I need to find a good alignment shop at some point, but tires are wearing even and only rub at full stuff with a full tank of gas turning left uphill on uneven transitions (so 1 spot in particular since the last alignment) Anyhow, enlighten me

Price is retarded for something that has scrap value given it can't be legally driven.

Agreed I wouldn't buy it but I've seen them advertised for more, no idea what people actually pay for them though.

When wheeling, the bumps and shit cause the cam alignment tabs to become flattened. There is a cam tab gusset out there that beefs this up. Next time you're out by your truck, take a look at the alignment cams and the cam tabs that it sits in. Then compare it to this pic.

I played around in my 13 a lot and never had a problem tbh. I think a lot of people actually grind them off on stones but I've always run LCA skids.

I can see it happening. My hard hits are usually on my IFS skid anyway. If it does I have steel and a welder, nbd.

    Below lol

I've had enough hard hits on only 3 year old LCA's / frame that after numerous alignments my tabs have bit the dust lol

Alignment cam bolts seized to the control arm bushing also has a large.impact on flattening alignment tabs.

Speaking of parts trucks... what are all y'all's opinions on how much a truck can make when sold out for parts? Obviously a lot depends on its age, miles, upkeep, rust level, etc. But what do you guys think is average on how much all these peeps in the forum are making on their part-outs?
