Wait a minute, what state is this? Does the state not allow you to wash your own clothes and dishes as well? If so, I'm packing my bags.

Put on bed lined bumper covers from Tacoma Beast. Except for the Toyota emblem on my wheels and my lug nuts I’m completely chrome free.

Just was out camping this past weekend and a rain storm passed through. Was really wishing I had a shell...
I have an rtt so “most” of the bed was covered, but there was still a decent amount of rain finding its way in.

I don't think you can pump your own gas in New Jersey either. Doubtful an attendant is going to use the gasshole either.

Right, us & Jersey. It's allowed in rural counties now and most places in and around Eugene make you pump your own diesel. I guess they've had too many fill ups with gas in diesel trucks.

I don't mind it at all. Keeps a lot of folk employed and we don't pay any more for fuel here than elsewhere. Get to hang out in the warm cab while it's filing up too.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
Yep it's Oregon, and yes they still don't let you pump gas. I'm in Washington and every time I go into Oregon I get a "what the hell are you doing" when I start to pump my own gas.

I will say, the shell is not 100% weather proof. However, with the ridges on the bed and a bed mat covering them, the water intrusion is not enough that my gear gets wet, but there is definitely water in the bed. I still try to pack the bed in such a way that things that can get wet (like skis) are on the bottom and stuff I'd like to keep dry (like back packs) are on top.

Also, even if you completely seal the shell and shell/bed interface, the bed itself also has a lot of openings. I've seen people on this forum claim they have sealed it all up, but here in the Bay Area it just isn't enough of an issue for me to deal with it.

Are you talking about grommets in the mounting plate where the wires go through? Without grommets there, I would be scared vibrations would eventually rub through the wires and possibly cause anything from a dead battery to burning the truck down.

I don't know how much volume you do on ebay, and if this would be a big issue for you, but I thought the seller rating was dinged somehow if they cancel the order. Pretty sure there is a way for the buyer to do that, and let their rep take a hit for cancelling.

I became a Pro Bro today after installing my pro grill. Also installed some MESO headlight trim plates while I was at it. Loving the flow of the front end now:muscleflexing:
