I like that setup but ended up getting new suspension, seat covers and misc. Stuff instead.
I went the home made way as I rarely need rear seats but did not want to make anything permament...

The Goose Gear product is not permanent. It bolts in using stock mounting points and can be removed so your seats can be put back in the event you decide to sell your vehicle or another reason.

I would just be tickled to have a board with carpet on it that was built nice to lay over my oem storage bins. I could put a block of wood under each side. Just a nice place to put groceries after I leave the store.

I realized it was not permanent and is the way to go. I was just noting that my setup is not really permanent either. One good byproduct of the frame then OEM like carpet is i put sound deadening on back panel and carpet has a nice waterproof pad under it which also deadens sound. Makes it easy on the knees and my dog seems to like laying on this setup.

Maybe start another thread titled ‘Rear Seat Delete Ideas’ and post it there as I have recently cleared mine and am concerned with all the exposed items I have.

To do this justice I am not going to try and fat finger detail on my phone and will post when I can get to my tablet or better yet laptop. Neither are with me for this mini consulting trip I am on until Sunday.
As far as the molle I took a shot at one made of composite. Thinking was for my application did not need to be steel or aluminum that would not flex. This has worked well for where its located. An upside is no powdercoating involved and material keeps it color. I put spacers on each corner and one in middle to mount the items. As far as the back wall I really like being able to mount my Dewalt inverter securely in the back with power coming up from below and out of the way.

Are the back walls included as part of the full kit for $1000 or is that an additional add on?

Website says “We will also have a replacement back wall section coming out that will provide ample space to secure other items and will clean up the back wall since the factory plastics on the back of the cab wall have to be removed for installation.”

The back wall is included. The narrative on the website will be corrected.

Could you measure the base of the 40% side? I want to see how big of a fridge I can fit if I just got the 40% portion.

Posted @withrepost • @GooseGear @pitcairnoverland let the cat out of the bag. Currently only tested to fit 3rd Gen Access Cabs that do not have the rear seat option. We are looking for a Tacoma or two to do some test fitting on models with the rear seat option. If you’re local to us and interested in bringing your rig in for a test fit, contact us through our website. Check out @pitcairnoverland post for more pics

Looks like you have the AC pretty well figured out! I'm assuming there isn't much difference between the utility model and regular except for having to remove the center console thing and the seats.

Any plans to make a back plate similar to the one for DC or is that part of your test fitting too?

    :spending:
