GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

In Cobb county, everybody knows that East Cobb has been booming and in my opinion overpriced. When my wife and I were looking to buy we found a heck of a deal in west Cobb, in the hillgroove school district. We were told by several people that, that area was going to be the next boom area for housing and pricing. Don’t know if there is truth to that or not. But a good school district will dictate a lot about an areas housing market.

 

I grew up in what is now the hillgrove district and currently live in Kennesaw and Id say that sounds pretty accurate. My wife and I have started using the term "west cobb snobs" pretty frequently.

 

That area is somewhat strange. Heck even the Smyrna, and austell area can be included in what I’m about to say(not so sure about east Cobb). Where I’m at off of John Ward road, you got houses like mine. Moderately priced and sized. Then a mile down the road you have trailer parks and a mile in the other direction you got huge houses overpriced with no yard space. Just strange to me.

 

What do you want to do for work?

 

Distribution/Logistics. Once upon a time I was heavily involved in the Outdoor Recreation/Tourism industry.

To actually answer your question; in an ideal scenario, I'd get back to Outdoor Rec. because working inside all day makes me feel dead inside
The reality of having a family to support means I'll likely be staying within the industry I'm currently employed. IE, Distribution/Logistics/etc.

My job is hiring in North Georgia. Account Exec in the Outdoor Rec. sector. Firearms, camping, fishing, hunting, competitive shooting, land management, hiking. We work inside all day (with lots of windows, yard, and wildlife) but we can go outside and test products. There are multiple hunting/fishing opportunities across the CUSA from coyotes, hogs, deer, to elk & bear. We work hand in hand with print, tv and digital media. Lots of perks.

 

Who is tired of their jobs and wanna make some shit straps lol

This is why TW is great. Literally about to buy a house and start my life adventure in the next few months.
