Hi to all! I am currently the proud owner of my third Tacoma, and I finally got back into a reg cab a couple days ago and immediatley traded in my 07 d cab for an 09 reg cab 5spd 4x4. In my opinion it is the original Toyota that started it all, so I think its time to show some love and show off our regular cabs, poser pics welcome, trail pics, mods, etc. Anything regular cab.

I will post pics of my 09 later, as well as my 98 with 33s and 5 inches of lift.

I’m basically done with this truck. I blacked out the flange on the rocker panel, got rid of the badges and mud flaps, replaced the stock antenna with a 14” shorty, and added the tool box and TRD off-road wheels. The last thing I’ll do is have the seats re-upholstered in leather.

I'm liking my '09 Regular Cab a lot. Ordered a tonneau a few minutes ago, yanked the secondary air filter yesterday. Need to find a nice seat cover for the bench seat but it appears the aftermarket ignores bench seat Taco's! I'd rather have buckets, I wonder what would fit...

How do you like your 265/75/16's? I've been debating between that size and the traditional 267/70/16. I'd like the extra half inch lift, but not sure how I'd like the final drive gearing reduction. What are your thoughts with it?

The black ones are stock on the 4x4, the tube step is from toyota, i have no clue where you could get the flares, you may be able to by calling toyota, thats my best bet, nice truck zombot

I could possibly take a pic on how it looks from the other side and how its holded on, i love the flares and how that their black and stand out, i personally like that, the flares wrap around all the way

The problem with putting the flares on a 4X2 truck is that the fenders don't have the square holes for the special retaining clips. You might be able to substitute the factory clip with a round clip from something else, but you'll still need to drill holes (about 9) in your fender. Of course, you could always glue/epoxy them on.

I went with 265/75/16 WILD COUNTRY RADIAL XTX on OEM steel rims, painted black on 07 silver streak mica, DC, 6spd, SR5
I got 75,000km out my last set of these on a 92 4RUNNER.
As far as gearing goes, minimal difference. gas mileage about the same 20-22MPH, at 100kph the tach shows about 200 rpm more.

I'll use these for fall and winter tires, and finish the OEM Dunflops off next summer and replace them with something in a 265/75/26 mounted on the aluminum wheels.

No lifts, no rubbing, very happy with them. :)

Thanks for sharing, these are on my list. Anyone do this on their 2.7? How much torque did you 'lose'?
