How much lift, aftermarket UCA? Even with a CMC you'll need to trim the inner lower portion of the front fender flares (plastic) and possibly do some massaging of the pinch weld if you want to stuff it offroad. Front mud flap delete as well. Here's some pics, sorry they don't all have the specs :(

Honestly I can’t remember. If you go to @Ripcord build thread he has an amazing write up on how to make big ass tires fit. Go to the first post of this build thread and there is a table of contents hyperlinked to any section you’re looking for. He has SPCs so I bet it’s in there

i have kings extended travel with icon rxt and spc uca and have my lower trim portion done. i can do something with the pinch weld with my trusty rubber mallet lol...

i dont offroad much but man 285/70 seems too beefy for me.. i may just go with 275/70/17 toyos or wildpeaks.. that should work right?

lets see some pics of the truck! Sure, the 275s would work fine. but 285s are just right IMO

I’m pretty new to this and I’ve noticed most people look for 3.5BS compared to their other models. Why is that?

Assuming it works with more preferred tire fitment?

No need for spacers and clearance for the UCA with wider tires. Also eliminates the need for the pinch weld mod running 33’s.

Correct me if I'm wrong but what your saying 3.5 bs will have that poke? If the wheel has -38 offset compared to -25 offset, the tire will have the same poke due to the same bs as both wheels? (3.5)

    Also which tires are those?

Backspacing is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to the inside edge of the wheel. Offset is the distance the mounting surface of the wheel is from the center of the wheel

It just makes the tire stick out a bit further. No matter which route you go, more than likely there will be trimming and mabye cutting depending on tire size.

Any rubbing issues with that offset? Going to get my truck lifted Friday and I’ll have a similar setup as yours (wheels/tires), so trying to see if I need to do any cutting/CMC.
