Anyone here have a Nixon watch? I like their styles but haven't come across much on the company other than their out of California, been around since 97/98 and have a couple of different movements they use.

I only have one, and I've been very happy with it! I quoted my prior post below:

Looks like some of their watches use Miyota movements. Nothing wrong with them. I like some of their designs. I used to really want one back in the day when I did most of my shopping at surf shops.

Wenger 73000 Standard Issue Pocket Watch. Sometimes I like to switch it up and carry this guy. Kind of cool as it has a built in alarm. 15517540437898017557304476214233.jpg

I have my Granddads old Hamilton. It's in need of some TLC. Guessing they were reasonably priced back in the day, as Granddad was a coal miner and money was tight.

Still runs. Need to find a reputable repair shop that can show it some love. Most local guys are limited to replacing batteries and bands.

After reading their service listings I'm guessing they could fix this Wenger. The day/date trim frame came loose and floats around.

I feel the same way. Only watches I ever really look at in dept. stores are Seiko and Citizen. I have never bought from one though, because all the ones I have looked at were really marked up.

    This and that...
A few more with some natural patina coming through. Been real happy with this purchase. Love the weight and toughness of a full brass watch. Went to a ballistic nylon band with bronze hardware.
