hey everyone, haven't checked in for a year or so, so hows everyone doin?? I am no longer part of the tacoma family as i just traded in my tacoma for a F150 but have some parts in my garage that i don't need any more. I have the sock catback exhaust, front struts/suspension, and swaybar for a trd sport 4-door short bed. let me know if anyone needs anything!

 

Yeah I prefer micro T-1/T2 etc for SAW constraints after lugging around eotechs, aimpoint M68 (I believe compm4 which is pro similar), ACOG etc. ELCAN specter makes a nice red dot 1x4 sight but its heavy as well but best of both worlds or you can do a dual mount and throw lever with magnifier but now you are getting real heavy. Smaller moa you can shoot farther out if necessary if you know your holdover.

 

I had mine turned around for awhile. I couldn't tell any power loss but my mpg seemed to take a hit.

 

He wants 600 plus stock wheels. You can sell stock wheels for 400. New ray 10s are not that costly.

Wheels and tires* he just wants to trade combos and get $600. Seems fair when you take into account mounting and balancing and stuff.

 

Anybody from Richmond area? Just got picked up for DLA Aviation and will be moving in less than 2 months. Any trouble with lifted trucks getting an inspection sticker? And what's up with the vehicle personal property tax?

 

Vehicle personal property tax blows! For your 2017 for a full year of having the truck in VA it's probably going to be around $700 if not higher..

 

Lifted is no proplem as long as your not rubbing on the cab mount. Pp tax is a county tax every year. Will be around $800 for your truck and tacomas dont loose much value so it stays high.

 

I work for DLA as a contractor. I'm up in the Alexandria area though. If I remember correctly my 2017 TRD OR was close to $800 for the personal property tax.

 

Yeah mine was about 800 in Arlington, I think fairfax was like slightly less. The Richmond area should be slightly less.

 

Thanks for the responses gentlemen. I was all excited when I saw how little registration costs were... then heard about the additional tax...I will also have to pay for my wife's '18 avalon premium hybrid

Ouch haha. One perk is no emissions for first 5 years of a new vehicle. Idk if you have to do emissions where you’re at now

 

Socialist Republic of Commiefornia... same rule but after 5 years I think the Republics a lot stricter.

Haha probably, I’ve never had any emissions issues in the past. I think you’ll like some other things out here too though
