Same. My eyes just go out. I also get bored and then get really tired. Doing my 1200 miles KC, MO to Aurora, CO and back in one go trip I had to stop alot on the way home to stretch and get my blood flowing so I wasn't dozing. That and Mountain Dew Game fuel and NOS at every gas station just to keep me going. Got home and was out like a light.

Also Music at volume 52 in the stock head unit is just right to jam and help stay awake. Car seat Karaoke helps stave off the boredom and in turn the tired.

Yea, that is how I know I would be. Minus the smoking. The crazy thing is, most of the time I suffer from insomnia. But put me in a vehicle and I am like a baby. I fall right the fuck out!

True story, about 15 years ago we were trying to pay down some debt and wanted to move out of the city. So we both got part time jobs at a place called the Corinthian. A bar/restaurant with a package goods. The wife was a waitress and I worked in the package goods (beer/wine/liquor carry-out). We also had full time jobs here in Baltimore City.

So on Thursdays and Fridays we would work 8 hours here, then drive over to the west side of town, and work until 0200 when they closed, then clean up and typically a card game after work on Friday till 0400 or so. On Saturdays and Sundays we worked 8-10 hours at the part time gigs. We did that for about 4 years. Towards the middle part of the 2nd year I was taking caffeine tabs (each tab was like 2 cups of coffee) 4 at a time just to stay up on the way home. Shit was hard on us, but mostly me. Some Sundays the wife would be off and I would work so naturally I was driving home by myself. I fell asleep one of those 0400 morning and a car stopped in front of me and I didn't Luckily we were just drifting to a red light when I nodded off. I didn't hurt anyone and due to them trying to scam the insurance co and failing, there was no recourse or liability to me. But it could have been a lot lot worse. We gave them our notice the next day and never tried any shit like that again.

So I definitely know my limits and if I am active all day, even just sitting here at my desk, walking to and fro in this building, then I drive home after a 13 hour day, I am sleepy AF on that drive home. I am sure from the videos I have seen that wheeling takes it out of you and I suppose after a long time of that type of experience I may be able to withstand more but at first, I am gonna play it safe. If not for me, then for those around me.

Yeah, eventually I want to tear down the interior and throw in some sound proofing. Would help make it sound a lot cleaner. Then under seat subs and possibly upgraded door speakers. Done.

BUT... Off road mods take priority! :mudding:

Mine goes to 60. :anonymous: but after 52 I'm afraid the speakers aren't rated for the bass it pushes through the OEM quality speakers. Just gets distorted.

My Lex has the Mark Levinson tuned system. 875 watts :headbang:. That definitely keeps you from falling asleep.
