Don't have the check yet that will purchase my lift, but picked up a couple parts from my dealer, then a few from Napa...relocating the rear diff breather tomorrow. Too busy drinking a glass of wine and eating BBQ chicken.

Mine's in a bag in the garage. Sometime in the next two weeks, depending on weather, and greenhouse work. Because green house work will mean yard work! No prob. Not going to drown it this month!

I liked your taillight, but I think I'm still going to put it in the cubby, because I still might just want to put the filter on it. I can seal it off with some silicone, or I have assorted rubber grommets, might even have the right one. Of course, I will try to take too many pics!

 

Smart thinking, main reason for the taillight couldn’t find the right size drill bit.

I was bored and wanted to match the one under the hood.

 

That’s pretty, my last truck I used a carburetor fuel filter an reversed it since it flowed only one way.

 

I hadn't really thought about doing it until the Mud incident on the HF trip. No rush, but easy and cheap mod. The parts guy at my local dealership is new, as in training on their computer systems while helping me kind of new. I showed him a pic from TW with the parts numbers to help him out when ordering them. When I picked them up today he said that he searched the forum to find the thread I showed him to assist in finding newer part numbers of something. IDK...it was just interesting that he referenced the forum to figure exactly what I was doing, and got the right parts for me.

 

I have boxes of former sets, so I can always dig if I have to. The main reason other than the breather, is
1. I have nothing in the cubby
2. My tail light has one broken stud - missing the bottom bolt.
3. Those little 90* I bought? come in from the front, 90*, the breather or filter will sit upright. No idea if that is important, it just seemed like the thing to do!
