    All,

I'm looking to purchase an extended warranty and an looking for the best price! Can anyone recommend a dealership that can do better than $2711.00 for a 7 year, 100k warranty.

    Thanks in advance!!!!

This is the quote I received from Wolverine Toyota in Michigan. They do online warranty sales.

Are the warranties worth it? I paid for the warranty when I bought my 2006 Scion xB new, and I don't think I used it even once. I kind of feel like new Toyotas hold up really well.

Bought used, got the 7yr 100k bumper to bumper for $1050. Truck is currently in shop for timing cover leak and 3rd brake light leak so it's already paid for itself.

I would imagine the 4wd models have a higher premium?

If you’re not getting that warranty for 1k, you’re basically paying for potential repairs ahead of time- even though they may not happen. The Power train warranty is not much less than 100k - generally, if it’s going to break within 100k, it will do it fairly early. I bought a Toyota for a reason, to not sweat about reliability- but to each their own.

I'll never forgo a warranty on a new vehicle. I threw a steering rack and pinion on my STi and that shit would have cost $1800 to replace. Broke it making a...very powerful U-turn.

May want to check up on those warranties if you think they are from Toyota. I thought actual Toyota vsa warranties are only up to 8 years. I can get aftermarket warranties on cars but most aren't worth the paperwork their printed on

An STI (Sports car) NEEDS a warranty, especially a Subaru. You’re comparing a high performance sports car to a Toyota truck.
