What snorkel is on your truck David?

 

Airflow. Got it during the mahalotaco group buy

 

Does it sit completely flush against the fender? Where did you get the intake?

 

I think it does? What do you mean intake? The pre-filter?

 

Yea, not sure what the name of it is....the thing that is round that the air enters into first.
I looked online, on the site and they are $399 now and for signing up for their mailing list I got a 5% off coupon. Makes it what y'all paid for the on the group buy I believe. But the inflow end is the standard type. Also in the picture it appears to be a gap in the front of the body on the fender. Not much but still some.

 

It’s like Thigh gap ,you want her to have a little but not look like she’s been riding a horse 24/7.Oh wait your talking about the snorkel my mind wonders a bit

I got the prefilter from a place in NJ. Its an enginaire. I forgot the name of the company that sells them, but i can get it for you.

There might be a slight gap, but it's probably due to the install

 

Not ready yet but I do like the round intake with the snow/rain/car washes

 

Do the sliders really help keep your doors that much cleaner? Lol

 

Maybe? At least they give me a cool mud pattern

 

For you guys looking to upgrade the speakers in the 3rd gen, do not waste your $ on those subi tweeters. Buy yourself a set of 3.5" coax speakers and a pair of 99UF capacitors. For about $75 or less depending on the 3.5 you choose, you have a significant upgrade over stock and over the Subi tweeters.

 

I still need to fix that dent in your bedside....

Might need to do something similar to this on the lady’s new Crosstrek. The max volume in that thing seems to be about the same level as my truck on 1/3rd volume
