i dont have to accelerate as much in ANY gear with FOB 91 tune. Going 60-70 in 6th easilly gets me 20-25mpg. But regular driving mpg hasn’t improved for me. Mainly because I love going 7000 (6900) rpms in 2nd gear all the time. Tune definitely made my truck faster, smoother, and WAY easier to drive. So powerful in fact that I raced my friend’s STI, 40-90mph and I was right behind his tail. $800 well spent. Better than getting intake and exhaust first rather than the tune bcuz intake and exhaust wont increase power like that.

I'll have to give 1.0591 base file a try, although I doubt it will make me smile more than FOB. I want to compare highway mileage between the two.

I’m near Raleigh NC, where in VA is Mat? Near VIR by chance? Kill two birds with one stone - OV MT tune day and VIR track day

    I’ll message Mat.

I am running 93FOB and I am never seeing these numbers. Are you running stock tire size?

Yup. I am thinking about 265/70R17 when it comes time. We'll see.

    04B12, I was averaging 19.4.
    04B13, I was at about 20.5.

I think that FOB 87 would settle right about 20mpg. Costco has 92, so I am debating 91 Base or FOB after this tank?

Interesting....I may try one of the other tunes just to see if I get a bump in mpgs. I am running 265 75 R16s and def saw a decrease in fuel economy when I switched. I am also 2” over stock with some armor and do mostly city driving day to day. I am thinking that is what is hurting me. It seems like to get the weight up and moving kills my mpgs but once it is cruising the impact is a lot less. Plus, running 93 FOB it is hard not to mob on it.

Great, barely any different than a P rated. Small mpg hit but not terrible

I think I got a piece of 5/16" vacuum hose from the parts store. It doesn't really matter much as long as it stays on pretty well. Technically you don't even need it if you don't care about getting brake fluid all over.

Was going to grab some tubing from the hardware store but was hoping to get the right size so I don’t get stuck with a mess.

As long as it's pretty flexible, anything from about 3/16 to 5/16 would be fine.

Ya. Other fluids ok...brake fluid. That shit is so caustic and eats everything. Will try the 5/16th.
On another not I have never gravity bled a clutch. Just open it up and keep pouring brake fluid?? I guess I should move this over to the accumulator thread.
