March 2019 Seattle-Area Meet

Elbe Hills State Forest. Snow and guns. Can share my route on Gaia somehow I’m sure

 

Is there a meet and run this month or just people posting their solo adventures

 

I'm down with any meet that involves shooting. I have some new guns and picked up a couple more steel targets.

 

I'm down for something next weekend. Maybe Sunday? I've always wanted to go snow wheeling

My route. There was 2.5’ of snow last weekends. 3 spots to shoot. Won’t be able to meet up with you unfortunately but luckily the route is a straight line. Hopefully you guys have recovery gear.

There are lots of good ol’ boys around there so you should be fine.

 

I'm trying to make my 33s feel small. Then I'll have to add 35s and a re gear to my mod list

 

Mind if I if I get in on that route share?

 

Any interest on a snow / gun run this weekend? I got some fancy new boots to keep my feetsies warm that need testing out.

Sunday looks partly sunny for Elbe Hills per @CBenfell's route that he graciously shared. But there's a winter storm warning in effect through tomorrow. They're forecasting for up to 20" above 2000'. Not sure how much of that will stick around through the weekend.

The only other spot I know of for sure to find some room to shoot is Elk Heights (just past Cle Elum). Mostly cloudy on Sat. and partly sunny on Sun. Mid 40s.

In short, I'm open to suggestions.

Lead farming would be awesome, but I'm still down if it's just a trail run.

 

Hey Folks. New guy here. I'm picking up my first Taco on Saturday. I have a built 80 series land cruiser currently that I am trying to sell (shameless plug if you know any that is interested I can send details).

I live outside of Redmond. Would love to get out and cruise with you all. I am happy to organize as well. I spend most weekends in the summer up in the mountains on forest service roads and beyond fishing/ hiking/ camping. Looking forward to meeting you all.

If your coming from a land cruiser youd probably enjoy a second gen more.

 

Beckler River area may be considerable for future runs. Though it was a mess for some of the rigs Taco did fine. Though I will say another Taco went up before is and search and rescue ended up coming for them as we didnt go all the way up due to certain rigs being inequipt. Had to pull out a full size Chevy, 2wd ranger, Dodge Dakota and a Pathfinder so it held its own fairly well. The 2wd ranger was wau too confident so when he got stuck for the tenth time he was thrown into Neutral to be pulled up the hill lol. Towed him at least a mile, 4 minutes or so; tried to upload the video but it was too large. Stupid ranger destroyed my tow strap though. noni

 

Nice. I've been up that road a ways. any anglers in here? lots of great spots along that road.
