Can someone who knows better correct me, I keep getting the same old posts in my searches. Are all OEM 2nd gens coils #540? And the only difference is OR are progressive and Sport/SR5/base are linear? Or are the TRDs also higher spring rate, some people were throwing #590 around but maybe they are confusing with OME?

I'm not sure but I thought stock OEM are only different between motor size so 4cl vrs 6 and pro maybe maybe slightly different.
    Why do you ask?
If you want lift 620 to 700 is what you want.

My first. She’s a little rough at the moment but I figure I’ll smooth out the edges.

That way the poor sucker I sell it to won’t know that hit em :D

Nah. It’ll be good. And I’ll buy FJ80.

I still have your old Toytec #620 in right now. My AAL is rusting and I ditched the camper shell so I’m thinking of just taking it back down to stock height. But I want low spring rate for my 4cyl/4x2/AC. Even the #620s needed some weight on the front to keep the front end from bouncing on top of the springs.

As soon as my wife picks something new for her I can start commuting in her old car. Which will let me put the Prerunner up for sale and buy a truck that isn’t for commuting. I would love to go 1st gen and 4wd on the next one!

Seriously. It’s my dads garage and as he’s a former self employed mechanic... I’m using his space and tools :D

    And knowledge.

Fun to work on it with him and just scrape the surface on the amount of knowledge a lifelong retired auto mechanic has.

Doesn’t hurt he’s turned into a hobbyist machinists in his retirement too

I know, I saw you post recently about selling yours and thought about asking. I’m not sure about DCSB though. But it would be a good excuse to get together for a beer and a test drive.
