Aloha guys, I got a 2018 tacoma and I've been wanting to get this grill for a while now but I'm not sure where/if I could re mount my sensor which is currently on my grill in the emblem. Anybody know if I would be able to remount my sensor on this grill ? 1AE3E487-388F-4D87-AA4C-299ED834DBAB.jpg

I’m assuming you mean the TSS stuff? I don’t think it will work through metal and there doesn’t appear to be a mounting point.

Thankfully I don’t have TSS but from what I know it can’t be turned off and can’t go through metal. I’m sure someone with TSS can shed more light.

You should try contacting dbcustomz to see what they can do. They do have TSS compliant grills that have a spot for the sensor to sit and a cutout for the metal to not interfere. From my understanding, any of them that make you input the model year on the options page can be TSS compliant.

You got the wrong grill for the TSS, should have a spot where it bolts in like this. You got the 16-17my grill, you needed to select tss in the options for 18-19. See the square under the Tacoma part on mine, that's it. Also when you install it since it is straight across and the front is actually concave. Place the middle of grill against your knee and put a little bend into it so it will fit better and sit flush into the plastic grill bezel.
