Morning fellas, I thought I’d share a good experience I had with a new shop yesterday.

Outlaw off-road performance is about 2-3 months old and is located at Judson and i35. I found them while stuck in traffic last week. I had them give me a price to install the OME AAL in my medium leaf pack and swap my stock 6112 coil springs to 700# eibach springs. They quoted me about $400 for the work and an alignment. I felt that was a good price and they are in a great location between my work and house. Dropped the truck off Friday morning at 8:30 and they knocked out the front quickly. Turned out that my centerpin in the leaf pack wasn’t tall enough to work with the AAL. Toyota of Dallas must’ve trimmed it or something. I can’t rememeber. They called to let me know the issue and I told them to just do the front and we’ll sort the back out later.

When I got off work and went to pick up the truck. I talked to the guy for a while about trying to find that center pin and how to get it quick. His vendors don’t stock it but he recommended a leaf spring shop in downtown SA that should have what I need. I plan to pick it up today and drop back off on Monday to have the AAL installed. They gave me my key back and said I could pay after the AAL is done. They did excellent work on the front suspension and were very helpful in accommodating a new appointment to get everything done. And didn’t need me to pay until I was all done. Great work and seem like a stand up group.

Thought I’d share and give my recommendation for them. Hopefully I can get my centerpin today!

They are right next door to universal Toyota and it looks like they do all the dealer suspension work for them. Parking lots is full of brand new Tacomas and Tundras.

That’s good to know, if I can’t get any decent weather on my days off soon they may be getting some work from me while I’m at work. Thanks for the recommendation.

The ride is amazing. I’m very pleasantly surprised. I was worried it would be stiff until I got my winch and bumper installed. The stock springs on the Tacoma are 700#. When I saw that, I felt better about doing it. There are quite a few on here running 650 or 700 springs on the 6112 I’ve come to find out. All had good things to say about upgrading and had no issues.
