    Not worried about a v8. Not driving a half ton truck, no need to do big towing or anything. My only plan is to wheel this bitch. The v6 does just enough. Wish it got a bit better MPGs since it is my DD, but I built this truck the way I wanted it with the expectations I would take some hits. So... Good to go.

    Ours isn’t too bad on mpg. It gets 18-19mpg for being a heavy pig and V8. Of course that thing will never see any dirt other than a dirt road.

    Mine isn’t too bad on fuel...yet. I figure that’ll change once I put on the lift and another 500lbs of armor.

    I think the v6 is pleeeenty for offroading our trucks. My little 2.7 will spin tires all day in 4lo.

    My only complaint is now my gearing is off with 285s and being a 5spd it makes it difficult to crawl around. I have a minimum speed in 1st gear where it just can't go any slower without slipping the clutch or stalling out.

    I never feel like I need more power. Just gotta understand it isn't a sports car.

    Oh and 18mpg with 33s and lift. :D
