The buddy system! Just in case you need a helping hand

Need loops in main strap for different size trees. Gotta be able to put feet against tree so you don’t slip in your sh*t

 

noted. So your sayin the strap against the tree needs to cinch to it?

 

I am gonna put some drawings together for versions so we can all hash this out.

 

I was thinking of straps that can go over a low hanging limb and call it the "Swing n Shit" ™

 

Kind of like the Eno hammock tree straps. Adjustability so you can get closer to the tree if needed

 

Swing n Sling

 

Needs to have metal rings so that you have multiple points for attachment depending on girth or lack there of. Think cheap sex swing and modify the mounting /hanging points.

So I found one of those army external pack frames, with waist belt and shoulder straps. With a long leash that you use in a helicopter to help prevent you falling tonyour death. Then I was like, you over thinking this thing...less is more.
I like the idea the the part of the strap that goes against the tree will be adjustable in some way to cinch against the tree.

 

I leave for a couple hours and shit hits the fan!
