So far very happy with it, can be a little stiff on the highway at times but I was expecting that. Mostly just in traffic at low speeds, seems fine at regular highway speed. Works great on fire roads and bumpy trails, big upgrade from the stock OR setup.

Blacked out my mirror signals and put in a Diode Dynamics LED switchback, tapped to the door switch for DRL functions, also dims when headlights are on.

Also added a Gentex 453 Homelink mirror from eBay that I scored for $30. I don't care that the compass is orange, the stock one wasn't a perfect match and orange is easier on the eyes. No reason to pony up $300 for the OEM one.

    Wiring was :
    • black to grey/black
    • yellow to blue
    • green to peach

Minor off road trip this weekend, just mostly minor trails with a couple of 4wd spots

Buddy I was with decided to see if this was deep or not, it was.

This picture from July was taken basically out in the middle of where the creek is now.

Yeah we've had a lot of rain in the last few weeks and it was too wet to back out...

Did some minor off roading this weekend in order to get some sunrise photos. No shots on the way up because it was dark.

Been a couple months since I updated this so here are recent updates

Mobtown skid trilogy and RCI LCA skids

KC Cyclone rock lights, did not see a reason for an extra switch so they come on with my cargo/bed lights. I suppose we'll have to see how the locations work out. All but the front are tucked slightly above frame rails. The only other option I saw was to go with 8 instead of 6.

I think they look pretty cool with the acrylic plates I put behind the BAMF logo on my sliders
    [IMG]

I also bashed one of my SRQs on a rock ledge and replaced them with Marine SRQ2s diffused (couldn't pass up the price) slightly relocated to a safer position. I plan to try and replace the diffused lens with the clear ones from my old SRQs because the diffused lens really kills the output.

After trying the faceplate and mic in a few locations, I finally got my HAM setup finalized. Sorry no picture of the transceiver but it's under the passenger seat.

    Icom ID-880H
    Diamond HRKS Adhesive Mount
    Comet SBB-1 Flexible Antenna

[I got the Diamond NR770HRKS, so I also have the Diamond NR770HA in my toolbox if I ever need extra range]

    Icom magnetic faceplate mount
    [IMG]

Englarged one of the holes for the glovebox shelf and ran the separation cable through there.

Here where the antenna cable feeds in, the other wires are for rock lights and the CB antenna cable (I removed the CB for now until I get a smaller radio)

Bent the Icom mic holder to match the angle of the radio bezel as this seemed to be the most convenient spot.

A coworker 3D printed the RJ45 mount for me and I ordered some plugs to fill the hole when I don't need the mic. (Speaking of anyone needs one of these PM me, I had to buy like 50 and only need 1. glad to send you one for the cost of a stamp.)

Hey gaterose I really like the way the 255s came out on your truck. I've been looking for rims that may fit my truck similarly (much to digest with offsets and rim widths) and was wondering if you had any rubbing on the cab mount? Also, do you happen to have the backspace for that particular raceline wheel? Thanks

Thanks! I did not initially have any rubbing but after I increased my lift, firestone set my caster lower and it started hitting the CM. Hopefully I can get another firestone to set it closer 3 like everyone on here recommends.

    They’re 17x8.5 with 0 offset/4.75” back spacing.

My dirty undies dude. Laundry. The whites.

No it was empty, I thought we might have and/or pick up some trash but we didn't. Many of the trails we have access are pretty littered so we try to clean up a bit here and there.

Can you break this down for me a little bit? I like this look but the wiring is a minor concern I'm a newb at it.

    Thanks man.
