So I started to observe if any Taco owners down here will wave. Only had one experience which I posted about earlier. Literally this whole week this has been me and other Taco owners:

If I hold up a bag of taco bell at a random Tacoma driver, do you think they would get the hint?

Every other TRDPRO I pass waves. I think there are simply too many other ones in TRD/SR5 pachages to wave to everyone.

Used to be a jeep guy and it was definitely a jeep thing, I'll give the jeep community that, same for when I used to ride street bikes.

Other Tacoma guys wont even look my way to acknowledge me so I dont even try the same anymore

    Good to know.

Not sure why that is. Care to explain?

I mean, I'm pretty loyal to Copenhagen and Toyota, because I enjoy both products. Why is that bad? I mean I guess I could buy a Colorado and a can of Grizzly but why would I when I have had such good luck with Toyota and Copenhagen?

Nothing wrong with enjoying their products, but to be proud of that fact... I dunno seems kinda odd to me and I don't understand it. Why do you take pride in owning the same brand for the past 20 years?

I reckon it just means you are very happy with your purchases. I am proud of the fact that my Levis last as long as they do! I think I am still wearing some that I purchased the end of the last century, even though I would never wear them dining out!!!

Unfortunately like most products nowadays, the quality on new Levi's suck. Had a new pair rip on me at the knees after only a few months

I never wave to anyone in the Tacoma but my wife has a modified Subaru. Pretty much everyone in WRX/STI/Modified Subaru's wave to each other.

I've noticed a lot more 3rd gens on the road recently around SE PA. Most are 2018+, the solid plastic Toyota emblem on the grill covering the radar gives it away. I'll wait to see what pans out as far as initiating a gesture, but honestly it's usually turns out to be old dudes who are probably on their way to pick up scrap metal or fleet vehicles from a construction company or a pesticide company.Only exceptions so far have been 1) A couple months ago, a black DCLB driver lifted his fingers off the wheel and pointed at me. 2)Today, I was at a stop light and another tacoma was facing me on the opposite side of the road. He got the green light (i'm still red) and when passing by we made eye contact and I nodded.

Pretty lame but happy we're not over enthusiastically waving our hands all over the cabin like Jeep owners.

That's not a Harley wave, it's a motorcycle wave. Some of riders won't wave at someone because the other rider is on a type of bike they don't like. Harley guy only waves at Harley guys, crotch rocket guy only waves at crotch rocket guys, etc. I currently ride a Suzuki dual sport, and I'll wave at anyone braving traffic with 2 wheels and a motor.

Except those 2 douchebags that were riding wheelies down a 2 lane surface street on my way to work one day. F those guys.

there are way too many tacomas in Colorado to sustain your waving. On a typical 25min commute to work, I count about an average of 10-15 tacomas. That's a lot of waving!
