That happened to someone else in here. What they ended up doing was marking and loosening the alignment bolts, unbolting the lower shock mount, and unbolting the two 19mm that hold the lca to the spindle. That’ll allow the lca to completely swing downward and you can get a drill in there.

I’m going down to Norfolk, so not too far from you if you wait.
Yeah I’ll cut back your stock cab mount, weld these on, blend it and paint it.

Fun car, would love to have one as my DD. The only reason I can think of why you shouldn't is that BMWs have a bad rap for being hard/expensive to fix, but I would still buy another used one. I had a E46 3-series in Okinawa for 4 years and fixed multiple things on it on my own with a Bentley Manual. Didn't cost me a lot either thanks to a solid/affordable European car parts market. Loved that car.

Man...I wish. I've been kind of out of it for the last few days with a stomach flu. Hate being sick. Hopefully they will still have it on tap next weekend.

    Thank you!

I was hoping to avoid doing all of that (not super savvy) and may have to take it to a shop.

I also noticed my icon springs look...broken?
