    Rain switched to snow an hour ago. Trench dug in front of the garage kept clogging with ice and snow chunks all day, water made it into the garage. Ice dam on roof is almost a foot tall on the ravine side, have at least 25 lbs. of CaCl up there now in 3 spots. Had to wait for the rain to quit and now I can hear water dripping. I'm almost ready to quit. Still ~ 2 feet of snow everywhere now covered in ice and snow building until 6 AM. Going to be fun getting the driveway clear tomorrow. And the truck, deck, porch and everything else. Not like I am going any place anyhow. No one is.

    FYI male adapters tend to crack on threads that’s why I suggested pvc threaded nipples.
