Everything LEGO thread!

Ahh, nostalgia. I had the some of the first LEGO space sets and the LEGO castle sets, then got into the technics stuff which was pure badassery. They ended up in a huge drawer under my bed, friends would come over (days before Nintendo) and we’d just sit there for hours making stuff.

My wife and I just watched the LEGO movie, so ridiculous but I just thought how legos were such a cool toy, lose a piece, mismatched, wrong color. whatever!

Everything is awesome!! Haha, now I’ll have that ridiculous song stuck in my head for another 3 hours

You people’s LEGO game is strong! Very cool!

No pictures, but try to picture this: My little brother had 1000s of legos and spent a couple of days using all of those little evil blocks to build a castle. Mind you this was a castle he could climb into the middle of and was about 4 ft tall. I had been gone on a camping trip and when I got back there it sat, right in the middle of the living room. He was placing little blocks here and there and told me to stay away from it. WRONG!!! Should have kept his mouth shut, because I proceeded to place 3 or 4 good solid kicks right through it, scattering legos flying through the air, all the while I was yelling "LEGO'S". To this day, I will never forget the scream of terror that filled the air as he collapsed to the floor. I don't think he ever got over that moment as his castle exploded into chunks of colored plastic legos flying through the air. I got in soooooo much trouble with the parents that night, had to apologize and help him rebuild it. It never looked the same. LEGO'S!!!!

 

that is the saddest story i have heard in awhile. do you and your brother still speak? i wouldn't speak to you if i was him.
