^Stock fenders accommodate 38s (well, not his, Rubicon fenders) with a mild lift and are made of a flexible material similar to our mudflaps. But there are aftermarket switchback LED indicators for aftermarket fenders. Go to 01:30:

Only on the fenders, kind of sucks.

Most aftermarket fenders come with a little led replacement.

I don’t plan on new fenders for awhile, if anything im waiting to find high rise rubicon fenders from someone selling them to gain the clearance, i like the stock look. Or a nice option is the fender chop kit, self explanatory with a led strip that goes that the front and peices to reinforce the fender as the inner is gone etc. #jeeplife #jeeptalk

    Yeah exactly what kenlyns said

    An unreliable engine
Could do bumper mount too with some cheap amber ones and just splice it into the existing wires.

    They're a somewhat new company.
Some say they are great . Others not so much.

Problem is guys that have them haven't had anything else and as always what they have is obviously the best because it's what they bought right?

I've been happy with my fox . But after hearing reviews from guys that have had fox and then got ome bp51, apparently the ome are better. I wouldn't mind trying them.

My issue is I'm not changing for anything that isn't longer as I hate the fact no one makes a shock for the full droop of dakars with a remote reservoir etc that works in the stock spot

Yeah when it's your first upgrade shock, I'm sure it's amazing compared to what you had before. They are all pricey regardless of brand.

Fox and Kings are both high up there though.

I know when I talked to ski about them, when he was working with one of the guys he sponsors that has a buggy in tmr races etc. They went to get shocks tuned by some shock guru guy . Supposed to me the best at it and what not.

He told ski Fox makes the strongest reservoirs and best shock bodies. I'm not sure if they have the best valving though for their stock stuff like we buy.

Buy their race series stuff has won 2 years in a row now .

You really can't go wrong with any of them. And it also depends what you want more of .
Icon for instance is a better shock for on road.

Do you want a progressive, linear or degressive shock? That's where you can narrow down
    Some good info here https://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/digressive-vs-linear-vs-progressive-pistons-shock-valving/

I was curious about ADS. I'm trying to spend less on my truck now so looking at where I can save. I'm looking at Bilsteins 6112's

Check the extended length. The billistein b110’s are 27” long. Think it is one of the longer shocks we can fit without a shock relocate. You may have to fix your bumps though. Pretty happy with mine, lots of downtravel and the ride is good.

Obviously fox and the other brands may ride better, but for the price, and how stiff my leafs are, I’m a happy camper.

If I remember right from an older thread the ads is linear so it would be somewhere in between.

I have been looking at it too. The weight savings vs the rtt and more room for the wife has had us considering. However the extra bags for a mattress, and blankets and what not has me on the fence. Plus a 6ft square is huge and has me thinking of swisha...don’t think it would have worked.

If it’s just you why don’t you get the single cot tent from woods at Canadien tire. On sale this week for $100.

I need to upgrade to a heavier coil because the bumper has made things sag a bit. The 6112's seem like a logical choice at this point.

I think 650 is good enough. The truck is only loaded on trips otherwise it's fairy light. I'm worried the 700 might be overkill from what I been reading.

Is your front bumper alumnium or steel?

I’m not sure what OME 886’s (650 or 700) are but I ran those without any bumper and then just the steel bumper. Ride isn’t bad at all.

It's steel. I find right now the ride is soft which is nice but I feel it needs the extra spring rate to raise the front end back to where it was before all the steel.

Ahh. Gotcha. Just trying to get some height back.

Sr5 is 540 and the trd is 590

Well with the 650 you can always crank up the shock to get some height. Issue is you loose some travel and are preloading the shock which may affect the ride.

I have always run the 886’s so can’t really comment. They have sagged though lol. I think my next coil would be 700’s with the weight I carry with the skids, bumper, winch and bigger battery.

The 6112's, from what I'm reading come with 600lb coil. So seeing as how I have 540lb coils now, going to 600lbs on each corner might not be a bad idea.
